I like to learn about others and challenge the way I think.
Come on that journey with me.

Meet me — who I am and what I write about

Hello, I’m Angèle. Currently training to be a psychotherapist. Now a meditation enthusiast, I’ve always grappled to stay in the present and in tune with my body. Whether it was my acne, eczema, weight, psoriasis, stretch marks – name it. I would always find something to hang onto. But spending 70% of my day thinking about what I looked like didn't leave enough time to live a life. With yoga, and later therapy, I discovered other ways to deal with anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and low self-esteem. And it does get better, I swear, but I’m not arrogant enough to pretend I have all the answers. I still struggle, like all of us do, but I’m committed to progress. That’s why I like psychotherapy so much, because it's all about the journey, not the end line — as cliche as it sounds. All opinions are mine and do not constitute professional advice. I’m writing from my own experience as a white bisexual cis-gender female, and welcome all forms of expressions and diversity (except for the hateful stuff). Hope you find some comfort in the words during the good and the bad times.
